How to participate in the "Genuine HID Technology" program.
The "Genuine HID Technology" trademark provides HID Global developers, HID Connect partners, and HID Global technology licensees with a way to quickly and easily demonstrate to customers that their products contain genuine HID technology. Use of the Genuine HID Technology logo applies to products that contain HID Global coils, modules, boards, chips, print engines, programmers and other enabling technologies that are developed and produced by HID Global for the integration into third-party products and devices, as well as products built under HID Genuine Technology licenses that extend the applications and solutions for the HID ecosystem.Companies that have been approved to participate in the Genuine HID Technology program will be allowed to use the Genuine HID Technology logo in marketing, advertising, and promotional materials for approved products, as set forth below:
- The use of the Genuine HID Technology trademark and logo as outlined in your agreement and per the branding guidelines.1
- Marketing exposure such as tradeshows and other promotional opportunities.
- Product listing on the Genuine HID Technology web page.
1 The “Genuine HID Technology” designation applies to only the specific products that contain genuine HID technology, not the company as a whole or other products they provide. Guidelines will be provided once your product has been approved.
